There is an old saying that says, "just because you buy a guitar it doesn't make you a musician."  The ownership and use of firearms, especially pistols, makes this statement even that much more important.  In our view is critical that shooters new and old be schooled in the proper talents and techniques of handling a firearm as well as the use of it!

This class is geared towards teaching men the fundamentals of properly handling a handgun!  This class will teach you many things that you did not already know.  It is intended to get you started on the right foot and show you what works and doesn't work basic firearm handling techniques will be emphasized as has will of the most common basics of safety.

Men present a special challenge to instructors, because of the old wives tales and hyperbole, as well as the misinformation that exists now on the various forms of communication, including the Internet.  We will break through the stereotypes and provide you with information you can use to better yourself and to develop self improvement techniques!

Many shooters think they know enough about their firearms, but in reality that couldn't be further from the truth.  And we do hope that you will join us for this basic class so that we can show you how to better yourself and to be a safer shooter!

PS the comment about the guitar comes from a former Marine called Jeff Cooper, who is considered the father of the modern pistol technique, especially with a 1911 style 45.
